Advanced Lighting

A couple weeks ago I completed the Advanced Lighting Photography class at Greenville Technical College.  In this class we learned different lighting techniques for portraits, food and product photography.  The last night of the class, we did some Macro Photography and played around with water drops.  This was pretty cool!

This shot was done with a 100mm Macro lens, two off-camera flashes, a coffee cup full of water and an eyedropper.  An orange sheet of paper was taped behind the cup to create the orange effect.  It took about twenty shots to get this one.

  1. This is such a terrific picture. I have never tried this kind of photography, but would love a class and opportunity to work with other to create this kind of image! Really came out great!
